Ruto Joins Thousands of Worshippers at Rhema Feast in Uhuru Park

President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto have joined thousands of Christians at Uhuru Park in Nairobi for the grand finale of the 2026 Rhema Feast.

The President attended the gathering on Friday as worshippers converged at the park for a day of prayer, praise, worship and biblical teaching.

The five-day event, which began on August 31, was held under the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild,” bringing together Christians from different denominations and backgrounds.

Rhema Feast is a non-denominational Christian gathering convened by Reverend Julian Kyula, founder and senior pastor of Ruach Assemblies. The event has grown into a prominent Christian gathering on Nairobi’s annual calendar.

Ruto’s appearance drew additional public attention to the gathering, which has largely focused on spiritual renewal, worship and prayer. The First Lady also participated in the event alongside the President.

The 2026 edition featured several prominent local and international ministers, including Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Apostle Grace Lubega, Bishop Kathy Kiuna and Bishop J.B. Masinde.

The programme also featured gospel artistes such as Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo, who led worship sessions during the five-day gathering.

Organisers said the event was intended to bring Christians together around the Word of God while encouraging spiritual renewal and rebuilding in individuals, families and society.

The 2026 Rhema Feast concludes on Friday evening after five days of prayer, preaching, worship and fellowship at Uhuru Park.

The gathering brought together worshippers from different backgrounds for a final day of prayer and reflection as the five-day event came to a close.
