President Ruto Meets Muslim Religious Leaders at State House

President William Ruto on Tuesday hosted Muslim religious leaders at State House, Nairobi, where discussions focused on issues affecting the Muslim community, national unity and the government's development agenda.

The meeting brought together Muslim sheikhs and other religious leaders from different parts of the country, who raised issues relating to education, youth empowerment, economic opportunities and the welfare of Muslim communities.They also discussed the importance of strengthening collaboration between the government and religious institutions in addressing social and economic challenges.

President Ruto reaffirmed his administration's commitment to inclusive governance, saying every community should have an opportunity to contribute to the country's development. He acknowledged the role played by Muslim leaders in promoting peace, social cohesion and moral values, describing faith-based organisations as important partners in nation-building.

The religious leaders welcomed the engagement and called for continued dialogue with the government on issues affecting their communities. They also pledged to continue supporting peace initiatives, national unity and development programmes aimed at improving the livelihoods of Kenyans.
