Kenya’s Malkia Strikers have booked their place in the final of the 2026 CAVB Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship after sweeping Cameroon 3-0 in a dominant semifinal victory.

The defending champions controlled the contest from start to finish, winning the three sets 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20 to move within one victory of retaining their continental crown.

Kenya made a strong start and quickly established control in the opening set, maintaining their composure to take it 25-19.

The Malkia Strikers continued to dictate the pace in the second set, securing another 25-20 win before producing a composed display in the third to close out the match by the same margin.

The result extends Kenya’s impressive run in the tournament and keeps their title defence firmly on course as they seek another African crown in front of their home supporters.

Malkia Strikers will now face Egypt in the final, setting up a highly anticipated clash between two of Africa’s leading women’s volleyball teams.

The showdown will give Kenya an opportunity to complete a strong campaign by defending their continental title on home soil, while Egypt will be looking to deny the hosts and claim the crown.

After overcoming Algeria in the quarterfinals and Cameroon in the semifinals, Malkia Strikers will enter the final with confidence as they prepare for the decisive battle against Egypt.
