Kenya's promising young swimmers are set to converge in Nanyuki this weekend for the Kenya Aquatics National Junior Swimming Championship.
The two-day competition will be held on August 22 and 23 at St Christopher's School, bringing together approximately 50 teams from different parts of the country.
The championship will provide a major platform for junior swimmers to showcase their talent, compete against some of the country's best young athletes and gain valuable experience at the national level.
Several leading swimming clubs and institutions are set to take part, with swimmers competing across different categories and disciplines.
Kenya Aquatics officials say the competition forms part of broader efforts to strengthen junior development and create a pathway for young athletes to progress from club and school competitions to county, national and international events.
