Algeria have secured their place in the quarterfinals of the CAVB Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship after defeating Senegal 3-0 in Nairobi.
The Algerian side delivered a convincing performance, taking control from the opening set to win 25-15, 25-17 and 25-16.
Algeria maintained their advantage throughout the contest, keeping Senegal under pressure and denying their opponents an opportunity to force a comeback.
The victory sends Algeria into the knockout stage as the battle for the continental title continues to intensify in Nairobi.
The tournament has brought together some of Africa’s leading women’s volleyball teams, with the participating nations competing for continental honours and opportunities to qualify for major international competitions.
